e-Boks is Denmark’s national digital post office. It’s where you receive your public and private mail, including SKAT invoices, letters from municipalities and other Danish authorities and institutions. You can access your mail by logging on to e-Boks on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.

It’s a free service that lets you read your mail whenever and wherever you want, on any device. You can also set up notifications to be alerted when new mail arrives. You can do this in your e-Boks menu under “New mail”.

How does it work?

If you want to use an alias solution for your document group, then when a recipient registers for a document type that is addressed using an alias, they are asked to enter two information fields. These are referred to as alias 1 and alias 2. When Nets shares a document for signature with a recipient who has registered for a document group using an alias, a web service from the sender is called (in real time) which states whether or not alias 1 and alias 2 match.

If the document is distributed for signing, e-Signing will automatically begin when it has arrived at the receiver’s e-Boks. Upon completion of the signing process, Nets-share sends the return "retursvar" file back to e-Boks in a zip file.
